Founder CEO Program – Advisory Team

I've had a varied career path that ranged from chocolatier, shuttle bus driver, and administrator before finding my way into the world of investing. I began learning about investing in 2018 and started trading a few years ago, bringing the same curiosity and adaptability that has defined my career path to the markets.

My husband and I have raised two great adult kids. In the summer of 2000, in a memorable leap of adventure, we sold our house and business, packed up the kids and the dog in a Westfalia camper, and set off on a two-month road trip across Canada. That spirit of exploration has stayed with us — since then, we've called Nova Scotia, Ottawa, Toronto, and most recently British Columbia home.

Throughout these adventures, something that has stayed with me is knowing that there has to be a better way. I feel that I've found that with this amazing group of people.

Every career I've had taught me something I still use today — patience from raising a family on the road, resourcefulness from running a business, attention to detail from years in administration, and the confidence to navigate the unfamiliar from packing up our lives more than once and starting fresh somewhere new. I bring all of that to how I work with people now: I meet them where they are, I don't assume one path fits everyone, and I know firsthand what it feels like to step into something new and unfamiliar. That's what I try to make easier for the people I work with.
