Hiroko McCoy brings decades of experience at the intersection of technology, global business, language, and entrepreneurship. Her career includes work on Google Search projects involving data analysis, product improvement, and feature expansion, as well as leading complex localization and globalization initiatives spanning more than 80 languages and markets as Director of Localization and Internationalization.

As a Programming Department Manager, Project Manager, and Software Quality Engineer, Hiroko has led cross-functional teams, managed complex technology initiatives, and developed solutions that delivered measurable results. Her accomplishments include developing test automation that increased team productivity by approximately 95%, demonstrating her ability to identify inefficiencies, develop practical solutions, and drive meaningful improvements.

Hiroko is also an entrepreneur who understands the realities of building and sustaining a business firsthand. As the founder and CEO of an import/export consulting company, she experienced the challenges of managing unpredictable revenue, and building a sustainable business while raising a family. This experience gave her a practical understanding of the challenges entrepreneurs face and the importance of having the right knowledge, structure, and support.

More recently, Hiroko’s longstanding commitment to innovation, personal growth, and positive change led her to contribute to the teams at CrowdPoint, EcoSynQ, and Trading Nations Global. Her journey also led her to Edgewater Education and the Founder CEO Program, where these diverse experiences came together in a shared focus on empowering entrepreneurs.
